The Nuremberg power metal sensation Dominum burst onto the scene in 2023 with a bang: they immediately reached the top 20 of the German album charts with their debut album "Hey Living People" and won a lot of fans with their horror-inspired lyrics, powerful compositions, vibrant covers of Dead or Alive, Billie Eilish, or Midnight Oil, and theatrical performances. So here we are dining just at the time in the adjoining room of the restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.

While escaping from his chatty table neighbor, the endlessly chattering Swabian baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.

Well, his health condition wasn't the best anymore. But to suddenly fall forward into the Maultäschlesoup is also not the proper English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the otherwise deadly boring evening is saved.

A dialect crime mystery is on the agenda, an extremely tricky case as well, since the investigation results seemingly rule out any influence of poison. Orden Ogan is at the forefront of modern Power Metal – dark, melodic, and technically skilled. Classic metal structures meet cinematic breadth and a strong sense of atmosphere and storytelling. In January 2027, Orden Ogan will come to the Z7 with their new masterpiece "Lords Of The Grave" – and will bring along the Finnish folk metal giants Ensiferum as a high-profile special guest. Band leader Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann explains: "Although we come from different subgenres, our styles complement each other excellently. Germany's melodic power institution Orden Ogan is set to provide a strong start to the concert year 2027. The new tour will kick off on January 7th in Munich, one day after the release of the new album "Lords Of The Grave". With two consecutive top-3 albums ("Final Days" and "The Order of Fear"), a nearly completely sold-out headline tour in 2025, and massive festival shows that have long reached headliner level, Orden Ogan is among the dominating forces of modern Power Metal. Hardly any band in the scene combines epic storytelling, monumental live shows, and such a loyal fan base at this level. After their joint tour with Wind Rose, Orden Ogan is now announcing their biggest and most ambitious concert tour to date: the "Tour Of The Grave". The new album marks the next stage of development for the band. Musically, "Lords Of The Grave" continues the course uncompromisingly: darker, heavier power metal interspersed with massive walls of guitars, sublime melodies, and choruses made for arenas. What to expect from the upcoming tour is explained by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann: "An even more epic show than ever before. Those who know Orden Ogan know that our shows are always a huge party with the audience – but this tour will be the biggest of all parties."

Joining them on stage is one of the most influential folk metal bands in Europe, Ensiferum. For decades, the Finns have been blending Nordic folklore with melodic intensity, hymn-like force, and epic choruses. With their unmistakable style of folk, Viking, and melodic death metal, Ensiferum has built a loyal fan base worldwide and is one of the defining bands of their genre. The shared history with Orden Ogan goes back a long way: as early as 2008, Ensiferum headlined the WinterNachtsTraum festival organized by Orden Ogan. UDO IN CELEBRATION MOOD

Udo Dirkschneider is celebrating a triple anniversary in 2027! 75 – 40 – 20 is the magic formula: The German metal legend turns 75, his formation U.D.O. has been around for 40 years, and in the anniversary year, he will release album number 20. With the “Three Times Anniversary Tour,” U.D.O. will come to Pratteln in January to celebrate a big party with the Swiss fans.

Actually, Udo Dirkschneider was supposed to follow in his father’s footsteps and take over the family tool factory in Wuppertal. But as his musical commitment grew stronger, he had to make a decision at a young age: “Take over the company, or step into madness – so I stepped into madness.” Luckily for all metal fans. With his bands Accept, U.D.O., or Dirkschneider, the singer has written music history over the last five decades and has become the epitome of the Teutonic metal frontman. Since the 80s, his distinctive voice has shaped countless metal classics. Udo is a true icon of the genre, continually redefining its history. This is also true in 2027. A big year for the musician, as Udo will celebrate his 75th birthday on April 6. He gives himself the best gift. With his formation U.D.O., he will deliver - just in time for the tour kick-off - the twentieth studio album since the band's founding in 1987. The “Three Times Anniversary” release tour will once again bring Udo and his fellow musicians to us at Z7 in January. One thing is clear, when Dirkschneider stands on our stage, it will be anthemic, brutal, and authentically over the top. For the last U.D.O. gig with the top-ten album “Touchdown,” Tinu from Metal Factory wrote: “They came, played, and tore the place apart. It was a great evening for a seasoned band that still has a hell of a lot to say in metal.”

GERMAN METAL ATTACK 2027: LEGENDS NEVER DIE

The great Teutonic metal parade is rolling in. Led by the Ruhrpott legends Grave Digger, a massive, loud, and uncompromising metal package is coming to Pratteln in January 2027. As a special guest, Motorjesus will join with their high-octane metal. To kick things off, there will be hard riffs and crazy double-bass inferno from Warwolf.

Steel is being forged once again. In 2027, German heavy metal makes a powerful return to the stages of Europe. Under the banner "Legends Never Die," three mighty forces unite for a package that makes metal hearts beat faster. At the center is the cult band Grave Digger. With pioneering albums and unique anthems, Grave Digger has been one of the most defining and influential bands in the German metal scene since the early 80s. And even after more than four and a half decades in the relentless business, there are no signs of fatigue. Chris Boltendahl, Jens Becker, Marcus Kniep, and Tobias Kersting remain a serious force in the live sector, regularly releasing high-quality albums. With "Bone Collector," Grave Digger released their first album in January 2025 completely without keyboard passages. With new axeman Tobias Kersting, the band returns to long-forgotten trademarks. Raw, brutal, honest, and yet catchy, songs like "Bone Collector" or "Made Of Madness" thunder out of the speakers. The record is a manifesto of German heavy metal, old school at its finest, without rust and patina, always authentic. Rarely has the band sounded as versatile, energetic, fresh, and multifaceted as on this album.
