The absolute highlight in the quaint Swabian town is the annual performance by the cultural association. This year, due to great success, the play "Faust I" by Goethe will be performed again. However, the main role must be recast in a public audition. The board of the association has warmly invited the local population to participate. The well-known actress of Mephista, Linda Bergmann, is also present to assist. The audition goes surprisingly well until a sudden death throws the relaxed evening into chaos. Are there criminal machinations at play? Who can trust whom now?

The previously flawless cooperation of the cultural association and the small Swabian community shows cracks and threatens to fall apart. Marlene Dieterle, not only the chairwoman of the cultural association but also a commissioner and head of the homicide department, takes over the investigations.

Fascinating storytelling, brilliant songwriting, and musical skill: with these ingredients, the Nuremberg-based Dominum conquered the metal scene three years ago. In December 2026, Dr. Dead and his zombies will present their unrestrained power metal with horror appeal for the first time as headliners on our stage. They will bring their new third album (Release: July 2026) along on tour.

The Nuremberg power metal sensation Dominum burst onto the scene in 2023 with a bang: they immediately reached the top 20 of the German album charts with their debut album "Hey Living People" and won a lot of fans with their horror-inspired lyrics, powerful compositions, vibrant covers of Dead or Alive, Billie Eilish, or Midnight Oil, and theatrical performances. The mastermind behind the project is singer Felix Heldt, who has made a name for himself as a songwriter and producer for bands like Feuerschwanz and Visions Of Atlantis. Týr embark on their next adventure with their own record label and a new album. In December, the Faroese musicians return to Switzerland with their melodic progressive folk metal anthems. Who killed Chattney and how? What was he researching? And what secret did he take to the grave? Notary Mr. Green and his loyal assistant Manfred have their hands full: They are checking the surveillance cameras of the estate, reading with the help of Herbert Wandschneider from the future, and Dr. Sten-Gelle combines cosmic energy with science, all in order to solve the mystery. In the end, however, it is Extreme Norbert, supported by the audience, who initiates the turnaround.

So here we are dining just at the time in the adjoining room of the restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.

While escaping from his chatty table neighbor, the endlessly chattering Swabian baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.

Well, his health condition wasn't the best anymore. But to suddenly fall forward into the Maultäschlesoup is also not the proper English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the otherwise deadly boring evening is saved.

A dialect crime mystery is on the agenda, an extremely tricky case as well, since the investigation results seemingly rule out any influence of poison. Much to the chagrin of yoga icon Eva Endlich, who would have preferred to send her guests to bed early. After all, "Yoga at Sunrise" is on the agenda for tomorrow. But what was announced as a funny game night turns into bitter reality: A corpse hangs lifeless over the garden fence – with an arrow in its chest. A competition between the rival sports groups? Or a sinister version of the “Game of Life”? Roll the dice with us! It’s nothing less than the truth and the necessity to identify the perpetrator(s)!

TOUR OF THE GRAVE

Orden Ogan is at the forefront of modern Power Metal – dark, melodic, and technically skilled. Classic metal structures meet cinematic breadth and a strong sense of atmosphere and storytelling. In January 2027, Orden Ogan will come to the Z7 with their new masterpiece "Lords Of The Grave" – and will bring along the Finnish folk metal giants Ensiferum as a high-profile special guest. Band leader Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann explains: "Although we come from different subgenres, our styles complement each other excellently. This tour combines epic force, melody, and intensity at the highest level – exactly what both bands stand for."

Germany's melodic power institution Orden Ogan is set to provide a strong start to the concert year 2027. The new tour will kick off on January 7th in Munich, one day after the release of the new album "Lords Of The Grave". With two consecutive top-3 albums ("Final Days" and "The Order of Fear"), a nearly completely sold-out headline tour in 2025, and massive festival shows that have long reached headliner level, Orden Ogan is among the dominating forces of modern Power Metal. Hardly any band in the scene combines epic storytelling, monumental live shows, and such a loyal fan base at this level. After their joint tour with Wind Rose, Orden Ogan is now announcing their biggest and most ambitious concert tour to date: the "Tour Of The Grave". The new album marks the next stage of development for the band. Musically, "Lords Of The Grave" continues the course uncompromisingly: darker, heavier power metal interspersed with massive walls of guitars, sublime melodies, and choruses made for arenas. What to expect from the upcoming tour is explained by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann: "An even more epic show than ever before. Those who know Orden Ogan know that our shows are always a huge party with the audience – but this tour will be the biggest of all parties."

Joining them on stage is one of the most influential folk metal bands in Europe, Ensiferum. For decades, the Finns have been blending Nordic folklore with melodic intensity, hymn-like force, and epic choruses. With their unmistakable style of folk, Viking, and melodic death metal, Ensiferum has built a loyal fan base worldwide and is one of the defining bands of their genre. The shared history with Orden Ogan goes back a long way: as early as 2008, Ensiferum headlined the WinterNachtsTraum festival organized by Orden Ogan. UDO IN CELEBRATION MOOD

Udo Dirkschneider is celebrating a triple anniversary in 2027! 75 – 40 – 20 is the magic formula: The German metal legend turns 75, his formation U.D.O. has been around for 40 years, and in the anniversary year, he will release album number 20. With the “Three Times Anniversary Tour,” U.D.O. will come to Pratteln in January to celebrate a big party with the Swiss fans.

Actually, Udo Dirkschneider was supposed to follow in his father’s footsteps and take over the family tool factory in Wuppertal. But as his musical commitment grew stronger, he had to make a decision at a young age: “Take over the company, or step into madness – so I stepped into madness.” Luckily for all metal fans. With his bands Accept, U.D.O., or Dirkschneider, the singer has written music history over the last five decades and has become the epitome of the Teutonic metal frontman. Since the 80s, his distinctive voice has shaped countless metal classics. Udo is a true icon of the genre, continually redefining its history. This is also true in 2027. A big year for the musician, as Udo will celebrate his 75th birthday on April 6. He gives himself the best gift. With his formation U.D.O., he will deliver - just in time for the tour kick-off - the twentieth studio album since the band's founding in 1987. The “Three Times Anniversary” release tour will once again bring Udo and his fellow musicians to us at Z7 in January. One thing is clear, when Dirkschneider stands on our stage, it will be anthemic, brutal, and authentically over the top. For the last U.D.O. gig with the top-ten album “Touchdown,” Tinu from Metal Factory wrote: “They came, played, and tore the place apart. It was a great evening for a seasoned band that still has a hell of a lot to say in metal.”

SOLO FOR FLOOR

As the singer of Nightwish and After Forever, Floor Jansen has thrilled the symphonic metal world over the last three decades. With her first solo venture "Paragon," the Dutchwoman proved that she belongs to one of the strongest and most versatile voices in the entire music scene worldwide. In spring 2027, Floor Jansen will come to Pratteln with her second solo album.

She started her career in 1997 with After Forever, one of the first symphonic metal bands ever, and eventually became the outstanding frontwoman of the Finnish multi-platinum sellers Nightwish in 2013. Today, Floor Jansen enjoys the reputation as one of the best singers in the world and attracts attention with her powerful, emotional, and versatile singing style that spans various musical genres. The classically trained soprano masters everything from enchanting clear vocals to powerful belting and rough shouting to growling. Besides her work with After Forever and Nightwish, the singer has also made numerous guest appearances with colleagues like Sabaton, Ayreon, Devin Townsend, Epica, and Avantasia. In 2026, the singer will use the break from Nightwish to increasingly perform as a solo artist on stage. Two shows as support for Sabaton are planned for May, several festival appearances are scheduled for summer, and in autumn she will return to the stage for two exclusive club gigs in the Netherlands. The concerts at the end of October in Groningen and the beginning of November in Amsterdam will kick off a tour with new material, which will also take Floor to Z7 in January. The successor to her first solo album "Paragon" (2023) is in the starting blocks and is said to sound like the Floor that fans of Nightwish know and love. Additionally, she intends to play the songs from her debut "Paragon" at the upcoming concerts in an enhanced and "metalized" version. Sounds like a perfect evening for fans of Nightwish, After Forever, and the unique powerhouse voice of Floor Jansen.
