Yes, you read that right, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and yours truly, Dr. Watson, have found themselves in Swabian lands. Admittedly, not entirely willingly. However, our genius could not decline the invitation of an old acquaintance, Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner once again. So here we are dining at the adjacent room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.
While trying to escape his talkative Swabian table neighbor, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.
Granted, his health was not the best. But to suddenly keel over face-first into the Maultaschen soup is not the subtle English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the previously deadly boring evening is saved.
A dialect crime mystery is unfolding, a very tricky case indeed, as the investigation results seemingly rule out any poisoning. The interrogation of witnesses, the forensic examiner, and some of the dinner guests makes certain innocent lambs in the room look suspicious.
Eagerly and in high spirits, the famous detective engages his little grey cells. "Swabian Cunning" starts to spread, yet no wrong builder will lead the master astray so quickly. Naturally, the solution to the case is crystal clear to him in no time. As always, he lets us fumble in the dark a while longer before the murderer is skillfully captured.
