The Roman Theater Augusta Raurica is the best-preserved ancient open-air stage north of the Alps and has been the venue for Z7 concerts for many years. In 2014, the Swiss Pink Floyd tribute band Crazy Diamond provided one of the most impressive concert experiences here, followed by performances from artists such as Tangerine Dream, Nena, Mike & The Mechanics, Nick Mason, and Beth Hart. Anyone who has experienced a concert in the 1,600-seat semicircular amphitheater knows the incomparable atmosphere of this historic setting. In 2026, Z7 returns and presents for “Augusta Raurica – Live in Concert” Crazy Diamond, Apocalyptica, and Eluveitie as top-billed headliners.
AN EVENING WITH ELUVEITIE – PURE FOLK METAL
Eluveitie has taken Pure Folk Metal as their banner. Since 2002, the band led by mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann has been combining Melodic Death Metal with Celtic folk music to create an unmistakable sound. With this exquisite mix, the Winterthur band has been traveling the world for years, achieving steadily growing success. When it comes to metal from Switzerland, Eluveitie has been the benchmark for years. With sold-out tours and celebrated releases, they have become the most successful Swiss metal export of all time, leading the New Wave Of Folk Metal. It is all the more delightful that the band happily returns home again and again to celebrate lavish parties with the fans who made them great. In April 2025, Eluveitie released the long-awaited new album “ÀNV.” Chrigel says about it: "We are really proud of it. At the beginning of this project, we set out to make a very real, honest album – similar to our early works. And we succeeded with ÀNV. Raw and brutally honest. At the same time, it is a modern and uncompromising album that musically reflects the depth of its lyrics: sincere, profound, and more relevant than ever!" The last tour with Arch Enemy, Amorphis, and Gatecreeper was a true triumph across Europe, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate and enjoy “An Evening With Eluveitie” in the summer of 2026.
