Hi. My name is Dirk. I was born in Hamburg. I grew up in northern New Jersey (Teaneck) and then again in the north of Hamburg. Both places have left their mark (oh yes!)
I used to play in a band. That's a long time ago. They were pretty good, most of the time... The Jeremy Days.
Meanwhile, I run a small label in Hamburg called Tapete Records, where we try to promote exciting bands and artists. I still make music. My records are (of course) released at tapete. I give concerts, sometimes with a band, but increasingly like and a lot all alone, so SOLO.
I'm a big fan of seventies Martin acoustic guitars, Vespa scooters, and Andy Roddick's forehand.
