A band that convinces with pop appeal on the one hand, but can also rock incredibly dirty on the other hand.
Since 2006, the five guys from Koblenz have been combining modern guitar sound with gripping melodies to create emotional hammer songs that should be experienced live. Here, guitars are still ripped up high and skillfully posed as if arrogant indie stage behavior had never existed.
Due to their explosive live shows, the 5 Resos were able to recommend themselves at the beginning of their career at various open airs or as support for acts like "Silbermond," "Die Happy," "Revolverheld," "Madsen," and the "Donots," and continuously gained new enthusiastic fans for their own Myspace community.
No wonder, because the five guys are pure energy and master their craft perfectly. There's Koral, the Turkish-born frontman and singer with a lot of pressure and heart in his voice. Bass-Phil, who sweeps across the stage like a hurricane and brings the intensive Brazilian drumming storm of Philipe da Silva to thunder with his driving bass. And of course, Thomas on the guitar with cutting melodies and Remi, originally from Poland, who complements the typical Reso sound with samples and keyboards. In 2006, they won the Rhineland-Palatinate Newcomer Contest ROCKBUSTER. This was followed by the first tour, their own EP production, and finally their first record deal.
Under the direction of the Berlin hit producers from VALICON, who also discovered Silbermond, the first single FREI MIT DIR was released in August. Why wander to American radio rock anthems when the good material is right in front of your own doorstep?
