Was wäre der Dezember im Z7 ohne live/wire? Jahr für Jahr sorgt Europas beste AC/DC-Tribute-Band zum Jahresausklang für elektrisierende Stimmung – eine Tradition, die auch in diesem Winter fortgesetzt wird. Am 18. und 19. Dezember kehren die fünf Vollblutrocker zurück in den Pratteler Rocktempel und entfesseln an zwei Abenden ein fulminantes Hit-Feuerwerk der australischen Rockgiganten – begleitet von Höllenglocken, Dudelsäcken und dem donnernden Krachen von Kanonen. Ganz nach dem Motto: Let There Be Rock!

Seit mehr als fünf Jahrzehnten steht der Name AC/DC für kompromisslosen Hard Rock und legendäre Live-Shows. Über 200 Millionen verkaufte Tonträger und Welttourneen vor ausverkauften Arenen sprechen für sich. Aus der Region Basel entstand vor über 20 Jahren durch den Zusammenschluss der beiden Coverbands Riff Raff und Jailbreak die Formation live/wire – und seitdem sind sie die wohl authentischste AC/DC-Hommage, die Europa zu bieten hat. Mit unfassbarer Spielfreude und einer bis ins Detail stimmigen Show versetzen die fünf Musiker ihr Publikum Abend für Abend in Ekstase. Sänger Däny kommt mit Stimme, Mimik und Schiebermütze seinem Vorbild Brian Johnson verblüffend nah – man könnte glauben, das Original stünde auf der Bühne. Gitarrist Cello trifft mit seiner Gibson SG jeden Ton wie Angus Young und tobt in Schuluniform über die Bühne, als hätte er nie etwas anderes gemacht. Adi sorgt mit seiner Gretsch für den typischen, schnörkellosen Malcolm-Groove, während Ronny an den Drums in bester Phil Rudd-Manier für den richtigen Punch sorgt. Abgerundet wird der Sound von Beat, der mit seinen vier Saiten das Fundament im Stile von Cliff Williams zementiert. Seit ihrem Debüt im Herbst 2002 hat sich die Band kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt, ihr Repertoire umfasst mittlerweile über 50 Songs aus viereinhalb Jahrzehnten AC/DC-Geschichte. Der Sound ist originalgetreu, die Show voller Energie – und gemeinsam bringen live/wire den Geist von AC/DC mit jeder Show auf ein neues Level. Wer einmal dabei war, weiß: Das ist keine einfache Coverband, das ist pure Leidenschaft. What would December be like in Z7 without live/wire? Year after year, Europe's best AC/DC tribute band creates an electrifying atmosphere as the year comes to an end – a tradition that will continue this winter as well. On December 18 and 19, the five full-blooded rockers return to the Pratteln rock temple and unleash a spectacular fireworks display of hits from the Australian rock giants over two evenings – accompanied by hellish bells, bagpipes, and the thunderous crash of cannons. Just like the motto: Let There Be Rock!

For more than five decades, the name AC/DC has stood for uncompromising hard rock and legendary live shows. Over 200 million records sold and world tours in sold-out arenas speak for themselves. More than 20 years ago, the formation live/wire emerged from the Basel region through the merger of the two cover bands Riff Raff and Jailbreak – and since then, they have been the most authentic AC/DC tribute that Europe has to offer. With incredible joy of playing and a meticulously accurate show, the five musicians send their audience into ecstasy night after night. Singer Däny comes astonishingly close to his idol Brian Johnson with his voice, facial expressions, and flat cap – one might believe the original was on stage. Guitarist Cello hits every note like Angus Young with his Gibson SG and leaps around the stage in a school uniform as if he had never done anything else. Adi provides the typical, straightforward Malcolm groove with his Gretsch, while Ronny on drums delivers the right punch in the best Phil Rudd manner. The sound is rounded off by Beat, who solidifies the foundation in the style of Cliff Williams with his four strings. Since their debut in the fall of 2002, the band has continuously developed, and their repertoire now includes over 50 songs from four and a half decades of AC/DC history. The sound is faithful to the original, the show full of energy – and together, live/wire brings the spirit of AC/DC to a new level with every show.
